Problems with refund, and bad costumer support
Windows User
I asked for my automatic renewal to be cancelled, they ended up charging me twice and only refunded once after sending them sever emails with copies of statements.
Worst costumer service ever, will never use the again.

It never ran well and kept getting pop-ups which I could not stop. Worked with their CS which was worthless. I cancelled service, asked for refund of remainder 1.5 yr. Kaspersky said after 30 days no refund. Do not do business with this company!!!

UNWANTED POPUP
Windows User
I tried Kaspersky Anti-Virus Free and decided immediately that it was not for me and uninstalled it. That was 2 years ago. Ever since, about 3 times daily I am harrassed with an unwanted popup to upgrade Kaspersky Security Cloud, which I never had. I've tried everything to remove it. Kaspersky doesn't respond to me about the matter. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with unwanted pop-ups.

You didn't uninstall the program properly, There must be traces: folders and archives of the application in your drive. that's why!!. You should check this, or use the Kaspersky removal tool, that's how it's called- (search on goo...Show More

I don't know how well this will work for you, but I use Ghostery to block a lot of the popups and ads I used to get, and it works out pretty well for my purposes as far as they go. :)

Privacy Policy
Windows User
During the activation process for a product I purchased, the link within the acceptance of the privacy policy section is attached to a page for purchasing. Also the link at the bottom of the kaspersky website does the same thing. I contacted the company providing support, 2 checkout, and asked for a copy of the privacy policy and the response was that I needed to send a more detailed email but there is no option to reply. Kaspersky may have been a good product but is worthless today. My score is zero.

Kaspersky installing unwanted software without permission!
Windows User
Kaspersky installed VPN software without my permission! Gave a rant to their support team.

Don't buy Kaspersky. It installs unwanted items all by itself.
Windows User
Kaspersky, along with Norton, have become like adware. They both install apps and utilities even though you expressly say don't install. For example, Kaspersky VPN popped up asking to install. I clicked no and clicked on "don't show again". This morning, it installed by itself but is in a disabled state.

Kaspersky asked me if I wanted to install Kaspersky Internet Security (little icons show up by web browser links saying links are safe). Again, I said no. This installed and enabled itself on its own. I'm unable to turn this off and keep it off. In my opinion, it has taken over my computer without my consent.

Normally this type of behavior isn't an issue except I have my own utilities that do this and Kaspersky has overridden them. FU Kaspersky!

Impossible to activate kaspersky free
Windows User
I tried to get the kaspersky cloud security - free and it was impossible to get the software to activate. the button to download the free software just downloads the paid one and then demands a lisence key in order to activate it. terrible and frustrating experience

I have been using KIS for many years and it has always given me great protection. Don't believe US (or anyones) propaganda about Kaspersky or others, it's all about money and control. Do the research yourself make your own decisions.

Excellent

Having tried 3 of the big ones, settled finally on Kaspersky and have used it with MS for more than 10 years. Operates seamlessly, no conflicts and has stopped every virus and phishing attack. Set and forget and no problems.

Kasperskyn uusiminen automaattisesti
Windows User
Haluaisin tämän ominaisuuden pois päältä. On kalliimpi vaihtoehto kuin erikseen ostaminen tarjouksista. Toki vaivatonta, mutta haluan itse päättää. Varsinkin tuon VPN rajoituksen takia.

Suggestion for Kasperski
Windows User
I think they should separate the company into regions that only use the application in different regions and share the profit. But they would store the data in that region, and manage it according to local laws, and each region does not share any data with the other regions. As it stands, I would not use the product no matter how good it is. I think it is effective, but I have other concerns with it.
