AV finds problems in my system. I'm not sure if it's often enough but I haven't had any security problems that I know of.

It's good, but nothing in this world is perfect so no 5 stars from me, so this could be better. I just wish it would do a scan of the entire system ie junk, browser, malware threats etc in one fell swoop, but it doesn't. You can for malware, it tell you to clean, you clean & then it asks you to rescan & it does this on every part of the system. I honestly have better things to do with my time.

continuous notifications

Every minute or less I am notified about the same two unsafe programs. It is a pain. Total av does not uninstall them when requested and I am unable to do so either. I have turned all notifications off to no avail. It tells me they are quarantined but I do not need to know this every few seconds. It has informed me 4 times whilst I have been writing this.

Better than most

Works OK thus far. Have had it for about one year. User interface is fairly simple and easy to understand. Has built in add-ons which cost extra. I thought they were included when I purchased it.
