My First Year
Windows User
When I bought AV last July, I was looking for a Dependable and Reliable AV Protection, that wouldn't cost an Arm and a Leg. Also, wanted Protection for All Family devices. Got that, for most part. My wife has experienced problems using the protection. Her laptop AV, seems to keep insisting that she Reinstall, all the time. I want to renew; just want to be sure that We both will have Total Protection, all the time, without Reinstall; or, renewal requests.

Great Software

This is a good overall software. Relatively easy to use (user-friendly) and covers all the essentials required to maintain your device safe.

An excellent addition for top protection for all your personal and professional files, TRUSTED PEOPLE behind it

Total AV vs. StopZilla
Windows User
In the past, used Norton, and after that StopZilla, which for some reason could at least temporarily not be updated over a three week period, even though I had paid for it through 2022. After reading a review on Total AV, I decided to replace StopZilla with Total AV. Appears to be working wonderfully so far. Have no complaints, but praise only!

Avira: HORRIBLE
Windows User
I purchased a two-year Avira Prime plan in March 2019. In May 2020, my service stopped. I tried to contact Avira, and there is no way to call or email for customer service. The website kept depositing me at its FYI page for assistance. With no proof of coverage, they refused to help me...yet, that was the reason I was seeking help. It was a circle of hell. After nine days of sporadic responses while communicating with a "customer service" person via a public Q&A forum, I've given up. This person asked me FIVE TIMES if I'd paid using PayPal, and I responded FIVE TIMES that I'd paid using my VISA credit card, and that I had the statement to prove it.

False Promises.

This company said it was free, after givng my email and password, they then wanted my bank details. Could not find anything genuinely free. Not happy that I trusted them and found I was tricked. Will have to change my email and password now as I dont trust them at all, since they tricked me. How do I know they are not hacking into my privacy? Is there any legal action I can take?

Before you buy

My family purchased total av a couple of years ago for 1 year and has been secretly charging our credit card for $2.99 since the service was terminated. The service is inactive. We've tried SEVERAL times to get them to at the very least stop the charges. They sent an email stating we needed to provide all this ridiculous information. We did so anyway, and they still sent 2 more emails asking for the same information. The reason I'm writing this review... They're still charging our card, and it's impossible to get them to stop. Just for the record, total av, did protect our computer for viruses, but I'd like to say if never purchase it again, but it appears I'll never quit purchasing it.
