I've been with Vipre for years now and they WERE good. No longer. Not only does the scanning almost stop your computer from working and makes other downloads impossible. I've had no problem with my computer BUT the Vipre software cannot update my patches and I've tried to get Vipre's help for 3 days!! No one answeres their phones, the email response was inaccurate, sent me to a page where they DID NOT have what I was instructed to do to resolve the issue. So Vipre provides NO home office support (though they say they do) AND their software has become cumbersome and inconvenient. There are better companies out there. Don't get sucked into vipre - bad company.

Reaching customer service is horrible I’ve been on the phone for over an hour waiting for someone to pick up for customer service or customer support this is ridiculous I will never purchase Viper security system again I’ve had it since 2018 and I’ve upgraded my computer and unable to reinstall the security system due to the link that was that I had from 2018 is no longer valid and very unhappy with Viper customer service and customer support

One of our customers lost their entire business database and 25 years of customer data while being "covered" by Vipre Endpoint Security. They had backup drives that ran twice a day on the server. However, hackers were still able to get into the network and encrypted all of the server hard drives, backup drives, and workstations with ransomware. Vipre was useless at stopping the attack and there was no support after the fact from Vipre except they suggested we call the FBI. The customer losses were huge and they blamed us for recommending Vipre. While no software is perfect, this attack was as if we had nothing installed for protection. This mistake will not be repeated.
