Very bad vpn, 12/29/2024

I’ve had it for years. Latest is that it will search for a server forever, and while it’s searching, my apple devices don’t work! And it takes many, many tries to shut it down even with automatic connection is off. So, I deleted the app, cancelled my subscription, and will get NordVPN or SurfShark.

Norton Secuere is not at all safe, if you uninstall of app it'll keep on reinstalling itself, after you cancel subscriptions it'll continue to charge you. DO NOT INSTALL Norton Secure they'll steal your money and might even infect your computer with a virus.

Norton Secure is not trust worthy at all. If you delete it will keep reinstalling itself, it doesn’t seem to be malicious but never get anything that does this. Stay away!

Erratic and possibly under-resourced?
Windows User
Norton VPN has been erratic at best. I've done all the regular fixes, to no lasting avail. Refuses to connect more times than it connects, and gleefully tells you you're not protected. Same on home, work and MiFi when travelling. I suspect it's under-resourced. Returning to my previous provider that was much more reliable with the same set-ups. Money better spent.

Norton VPN seems to be compatible with my Netflix about 40% of the time. Practically every time I'm watching anything on Netflix, at some point (if I'm connected for more than a couple hours) I will get an error message from Netflix telling me I have to disconnect my VPN. I refuse to babysit a piece of software. If Norton can't build a product that disconnects/connects on its own, as needed, I'm of course canceling my subscription. Pretty ridiculous this even has to be mentioned.
