Works very poorly
Mac User
Hardly ever works as intended. Almost never fills the login fields unaided. Most of the time I have to open the browser app, search for the website, and copy each credential separately and paste them in to each field. Each time you copy, the extension closes, so you have to keep opening it and searching the credential. Talking to support about this is a freaking joke. They will not look into anything and they make you do all the work of making a video of each and every failure. They are completely unwilling to address the problems as a whole or acknowledge that there are systemic issues. On iPhone, same thing; it virtually never fills password logins for you. The best think it can serve as is simply a set of notes/ database of your password...Show More
So flimsy
Windows User
Dashlane is good at generating passwords. However, the overall application is terrible. Crashing, feels flimsy and really low-budget overall. So many features are missing. It's messing up password saving. It's messing up autofill and overwriting passwords for other domains. We used it for over a year at my company, but then everyone were so fed up with it it had to go.

Dashlane is garbage! Don't get it!
Windows User
Never works correctly anymore and now that it's web only it almost never works at all. Constantly logging me out even though I work from home at 1 computer. This company needs to go out of business. My guess is it got bought a few years ago when the logo changed. It's gone downhill since and is now pointless garbage that just gets in the way by trying to fill when I don't need it and doesn't work when I do. Avoid this headache at al cost.

Not good at all - soon browser only
Windows User
This is not the best and their politics to move 100% to the browser kills it for me.

Non stop issues
Windows User
They are slow with support and there are many issues. I have multiple billings taken from my account and they have been very reluctant to put right. If you can't trust them with $40, how can you trust them with passwords?

Received an email... New device added... Not by me.... I can no longer access my account no way no how. There is nothing in their tech area if this happens to you.... Getting rid of dashlane going to another more intelligent company. I had to block my cards and lost all of my accounts. After paying for dashlane, they decided to change their billing to monthly payments..... Voiding the original agreement. Typical strong arm corporate America.

Dashlane awful software and customer service
iOS User
I used Dashlane business for my company, as a password manager it was awful, my entire team had issues with it and wasted countless hours trying to work with it. It would generate passwords and not save them, and when using with Firefox on Linux it would never auto fill. I requested a refund after 3 months in to a 12 month contract and they refused to give the refund even tho we are not going to be using their terrible software. Please do not get Dashlane there are much better and cheaper password managers out there.

THEY SUCK
Mac User
I started to set myself up on Dashlane and ran into some troubles and tried over and over to fix it with all the options I could find. I tried time and time again to reach out to someone HUMAN for help at the company and got endless stupid emails back from them. I stopped looking at them because it was driving me crazy. Every company should have a human way to deal with customers for a senior like myself who didn't grow up with a computer in their hands by the age of three!

Poor support for commonly used websites
Mac User
Many of the sites we use on a regular basis (e.g., amazon, staples, etc) are not supported by Dashlane. What a major disappointment. The features are great but the inability to take advantage of Dashlane for what should be supported websites is mind boggling.
