Doesn't Update the Modules

Is not possible to Update the Modules, i try so many times but NOTHING...

ESET Customer Service - Linux AV NOD32
Windows User
I had a trial version of Eset AV for Linux. I purchased the product but was never sent the password, just the username. Repeated "chat" attempts could not resolve the issue and every time I requested the password, Eset would send the trial username & password and then send just the username, no password, for the purchased license. What kind of mental defects work there?

Izuzetan proivod!
Windows User
Lagan i efektivan antivirus.Mnogo značajki koje mogu biti podešene upravo po volji korisnika.Vrlo visok nivo detekcije, odličan antiphishing modul, snažan antimalware.Preporučujem baš svakome :)

Worst business practice ever
Android User
Two years ago, I lost all my information on the hard drive. After checking with Eset, I was told the computer fail. It was not a virus that caused the loss.
No reason to doubt t them.
I went out and bought a new computer, and now my new computer wouldn't load. The BIOS was gone.
And the only help I received from Eset as Residential Purchasers of Eset only get to talk with online eset forums. Eset is doing business with a computer owner that depends on its business practices.
If you are like me with little to none experience with computers:
Do not, by any means, Go to ESET for your virus help.

It brings all the features I need
Windows User
- Great Product, easy to use
- Excellent Password Manager - many features (security report, notes, credit card management, ESET is checking for leaked accounts in HaveIBeenPwned database, which is very handy)

Blocks WSL2 and WSL1 Network interfaces
Windows User
works great for most things, bit of a CPU hog on startup but most of my work is done in WSL2 and WSL and it blocks everything

Incorrect Info
Windows User
In the UK Eset do have a Tech Support telephone number, with Norton you have to jump through hoops to find the number, then fill in forms to disclose the number and you are told before you even call them there will be a long wait, the few times I have called Eset in the last 12 years it has always been a prompt service, you get what you pay for

Best antivirus for windows
Windows User
ESET caught all of the 30,00,000 samples I used in protection of zero-day attacks. I collected it in the past few days. So. it was new. It also caught all 1cr samples I used in detection of widespread malware and recurring malware. I collected them a few weeks ago. Around 2 weeks. And tested it. Caught all of them. Perfect 100% detection. I would really recommend ESET.

Awful
Windows User
False positives, removes legitimate software and when manually selected to restore fails. Complete waste of time.

the "extra's" are why I choose ESET
Linux User
I find ESET works very well; for me and my customers, both home and business.
The reason I have moved away from the likes of Norton, AVG, etc is the incessant attempts at trying to upsell - "You're insecure- you don't a VPN". "You have clutter - buy our cleaner" etc, etc.... very frustrating.
In the UK, we need a VPN if out and about on an untrusted wireless network; cafe's hotels etc. At home, we may want a VPN for access to global content unavailable in this country. To state that a machine is insecure because we don't have this feature is scaremongering!
ESET does what it is supposed to do, and does it well. If you need to declutter, look at CCleaner, SuperAntiSpyware etc (free for home users), or a VPN; there are hundreds out t...Show More
